Samsung’s DCS and OfficeServ 7000-series systems support one internal and up to two external music sources, set per trunk or extension through MMC programming codes.

What callers heard

The OfficeServ documentation lists the default music-on-hold source as NONE. Until an installer assigns something, hold is silent. It’s one of the clearest defaults in this whole collection.
